North Star Trap Club is a club-level (non-NSAA) sport for students attending North Star High School and Dawes, Goodrich, and Schoo Middle Schools. We belong to the Eastern Cornhusker Trapshooting Conference and take part in the Conference’s Central Division. (ECTC; www.shootectc.org).
Lincoln North Star has a tradition of trap shooting excellence. Over many of the historic seasons, the team places many shooters in the top ranks of the division. The sport is open to all students grades 6-12 and are eligible to earn awards based on performance at practices and meets. LNS Trap is a letter sport for high school students and also provides opportunities for academic awards and scholarships, with North Star seniors earning college scholarships in past years.
